Watch: Days after a mass shooting, trans activists invade another state capitol in protest of "Anti-Woke Bill"
There's another insurrection going on at the Florida State Capital in Tallahassee. But something tells me this one won't result in hundreds of arrests, years-long prison sentences, and solitary confinement. Because this insurrection was in the name of trans rights, which no one is allowed to portray even the slightest bit negatively, ever. For reasons.
This latest insurrection comes the same week a transgender person killed six people at a Christian elementary school. Now, I know what you're thinking, what exactly are they upset about? And they weren't protesting for gun control or school safety, which would have made slightly more sense. They were protesting a bill passed by state lawmakers that bans teachers from teaching radical gender ideology to students in grades Pre-K to 8. Which seems reasonable to me. But then again, what do I know. I'm just a "cisgender" white girl with a laptop.
Some of them chanted, "Whose schools? Our schools!" Other insurrectionists held signs that said, "Cure Transphobia" and "Stop Trans Genocide".
“Another Insurrection by Trans Activists today in Florida.

Activists stormed the state capital demanding Trans Rights!

Again, no sympathy or care for the mass shooting that just took place carried out by a member of their own community!

”— Oli London (@Oli London) 1680286442
“Radical Trans Activists Scream inside the Florida State Capital holding placards with ‘Cure Transphobia’ and ‘Stop Trans Genocide’

This comes just 4 days after a Transgender shooter took 6 innocent lives.

📹 @FLVoiceNews #Trans #TransDayOfVengeance #Transgender”— Oli London (@Oli London) 1680286742
This confusing rhetoric and lack of sympathy for the shooting victims is coming from the White House, too. I guess today is Transgender Day of Visibility, so to provide more visibility to the transgender people, the White House issued a statement that claimed there is an "epidemic of violence against transgender women and girls, in particular women and girls of color". It also said "transgender Americans shape our nation's soul". Again, there was no mention of the shooting that happened just this past Monday.
“Biden notably did not mention the mass murder carried out by a trans-identified person on Monday.

https://t.co/65GedlYhDd”— The Post Millennial (@The Post Millennial) 1680236412
This is such an incredibly bizarre reaction to the tragic shooting, I don't even know where to begin. And the worst part is, there seems to be little if any sympathy for the families of the victims, which is where everyone's focus should be now.
