The left would love nothing more than to discredit Christopher Rufo. He’s become the education industry’s greatest opponent, shining a light on the numerous issues with public education. He’s also not the biggest fan of Disney-employed pedophiles. But the left hasn’t found anything on which to really attack Rufo. I don’t know him personally, but I’m going to guess they won’t find anything.

Because they can’t seem to find anything of substance upon which to base an attack, they are just making things up. That’s what Diane Ravitch, a research professor of education at NYU, did. She simply came up with the worst thing she could think of and tossed it out as if it were true.

“He wants children to be taught as they were in 1776 when most black people were enslaved, women had no rights, and the aristocracy made all decisions and had all the rights. They even had the right to sexually abuse their young female slaves. They were, indeed, pedophiles. As Rufo might say, those were the days, the good old days.”

This is despicable. It also sounds a lot like leftist projection.

The left seeks to perpetuate race essentialism in public schools.

The left looks to its elites to make all the decisions for the American people.

The left is actively sexualizing children.

I mean, they basically took everything they are doing in public schools and attributed it to a man who would like nothing more than for the public school system to implode. It would be some impressive mental gymnastics if it weren’t so obviously preposterous.

Certainly, the Ministry of Truth will have no problem with these lies being perpetuated. They’ll call this truth as they censor criticisms from Rufo soon.
