Governor Ron DeSantis' recent political stunt to send a whopping 50 illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard is causing waves all over the leftist political sphere. Politicians, media talking heads, and activists continue to stumble over their words, likening the action to kidnapping, human trafficking, and the freakin' Holocaust. It's the worst thing to ever happen. Ever. Like. Literally!

But 50 illegal immigrants showing up in a place filled with rich people with more than enough wealth to take care of those immigrants is nothing compared to what southern border cities and towns have to deal with, and Martha's Vineyard resident Jane Chittick seems to know that. In fact, she hopes to see one pair of residents put their money where their mouths are.

"I don’t think people like the Obamas with huge estates who live here in the summer will care (about the migrants)."

“I would love to see the Obamas open up their huge property and erect tents and look after all these people while they’re being processed," she said. However, she adds,

The people who live there are rich and removed from real life. These people will love the fact the immigrants have been dropped off on their island, because now they can feel like part of the solution, helping these few people. But they’d never let them into their houses unless they were working.

We knew this already, though. Democrats are fine with stealing other people's money via high taxes and blowing it on whatever to virtue signal, but they're loathe to actually do something themselves with their own coin. That's why the immigrants shipped to Martha's Vineyard have already been rounded up and unceremoniously booted. As Chittick said, unless they're the new help, they aren't welcome in those parts.

I'm hoping to see entire convoys of buses arrive in some of these affluent blue areas soon. It's past time for these people to start experiencing the consequences of the moronic policies for which they advocate.
