Donald Trump has not accomplished everything he said he was going to do in less than a year. For that reason, and his decision to do something about Iran, there are supporters who are threatening to sit out election day. They voted. They didn't get everything they wanted right away and all at once. They're blackpilled from ever voting again. At least, according to what they claim on X-Twitter.

JD Vance has a message for the blackpillers. It took more than a year for the left to tear down the country. It's going to take more than a year to save it. So nut up or shut up, Buttercup.

I'm paraphrasing. The Vice President's actual quote was more measured and well-reasoned.

Our civilization was not built overnight. It's not going to be saved overnight. Stay involved. Be patient. And don't let disappointment turn to checking out entirely. Blackpilling is how you give power to the forces that are trying to destroy what our ancestors built.

Here's the thing: I understand the frustration because the GOP has been terrible. Much less terrible than it has been in the past, granted. But we only had two years to get as much done as we possibly could, and the House and Senate have dragged their feet for most of it. Now we are looking at the midterms, and a new amnesty bill does undo everything Trump has managed to do with deportations and sealing the border.

Democrats take power and pull as far to the left as they can without fear of losing power, because they know a) they will lose it, and b) they'll just pull to the left again when they regain power. Republicans take power and never want to go home again, so they do the barest minimum to make sure they hang on to it.

I share the frustrations. We need to constantly find better candidates. Take out those frustrations in primaries prior to November.

To advertise how you are sitting out, and how there is no point in voting, and how both parties are the same...you're not taking seriously how bad it could get and WILL get if the left is ever allowed to take control again.
