Rapper turned actor turned detergent salesman Ice T has won the internet today. Seriously, good game everyone. Take the rest of the day off, and we'll meet back here tomorrow. The O.G. (Original Gangster) shared a corny dad joke that you've no doubt seen all over the interwebs about gas prices. But it was hilarious today because it was coming from ICE T.

"I was robbed at a gas station in NJ last night. After my hands stopped trembling..I managed to call the cops and they were quick to respond and calmed me down..... My money is gone.. the police asked me if I knew who did it..I said yes.. it was pump number 9…"

Not the most original material, but coming from Ice T, it was a funny tale. First, you were hit by shock because who the hell would roll up on Ice T like that. Then you were hit by sorrow for the man because the Ice T we grew up with would never be shaking out of fear. Then he hits you with the punchline. And milk squirts out of America's nose.

I have to hand it to Twitter. Most people appreciated the humor for what it was.

But the bird app wouldn't be the bird app without humorless scolds. They weren't Kyle Rittenhouse angry, but there were more than a few sore hineys. Some were outraged because Republicans were laughing.

Others believe Ice T makes too much money to have fun on the Internet.

And there's always your trigger warningers...

Outside of a few haters and/or losers, everyone had a good time. We all huddled around our smartphones and had a hearty laugh. Americans have so few shared experiences these days. Thank you, Ice T, for giving us this. And also giving us "There Goes the Neighborhood."
