So, I bet you've noticed the higher prices at the pump these past few months. Rather, I'm sure you've noticed those prices growing steadily higher since the day Biden took office and declared war on the energy industry. He continues to blame everyone else for his moronic policies--Putin, Oil companies, even the corner gas station owner--but there's no doubt his administration is largely to blame.

Back in March, this walking corpse with a brain half-eaten by worms announced the release of one million barrels of oil per day for six months from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve... To refresh your memory, here he was announcing it.

Okay, he did a lot of his patented finger-pointing, too, but he announced his grand plan to lower the price at the pump for Americans. That was in March. It's July now. So, why aren't those prices plunging? Well, first, because this plan was never really going to do much, but it might have made a dent. But the dent it might have made was erased because a bulk of that oil isn't even being used to refine into gasoline for Americans. The government is selling it on the world market!

Reuters reports that "The U.S. Department of Energy on Tuesday said it was selling up to 45 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve."

So, that oil that was supposed to be used to help Americans... It just went overseas. This means that if Americans are to benefit from is being refined into gasoline, they are going to have to pay to ship it back here... Which is just going to make that gasoline more expensive. Whoever came up with this idea needs to be fired, but God knows the entire administration is staffed with all manner of imbeciles who could've cooked up this plan.

Enjoy your high gas prices. Make sure to tell a Biden voter just how much you're enjoying blowing your life's savings to keep your vehicle running. It doesn't look like we're getting a meaningful reprieve anytime soon.
