Chris Cuomo went on YouTube to discuss President Trump and Iran. Today’s show breaks down what he said and why he was wrong.

“I don't like what he has to say, how he presents it, how he chases trends, and I do not like how he is inconsistent and tries to claim that it is because he is being objective,” Crowder said. “I haven't forgotten how he broadcast during COVID. I haven't forgotten how he covered the impeachment. I haven't forgotten how he covered Russia Gate. I haven't forgotten how he talked about White men being the greatest domestic terrorists."

So, while he may have changed his tone on some of these issues and admitted he was wrong, that does not change the fact that he continues to be incorrect on so many of the issues.

According to Cuomo, the reason the conflict in Iran had to happen, according to Trump, is because “the president is right that the regime in Iran is stockpiling highly enriched uranium because they want to develop a nuclear weapon and they were just weeks away and we had to do it right when they did it.” However, Cuomo claims this is not true.

“To be clear, there are good-faith arguments to be made on both sides on Iran. In three months, I will give an assessment and my opinion, and we can have a discussion. But I am not going to discuss that this is a forever war that is directly comparable to Iraq. Or discuss claims that are simply false or baseless,” Crowder said.

It is valid to claim Iran is an unstable nation and no other country wants it to have nuclear weapons, but this may not have been the most appropriate time.

“But ignoring that and treating your audience as though they are the same level of moran as the host is not good faith,” Crowder said.

According to Cuomo, the administration is “praying on your ignorance,” and “the more you look at it, the more obvious the deception.” He added that Trump is making you believe that “having enriched uranium is almost the same as having a weapon.”

“No country has ever passed 30% enrichment and not built a nuclear bomb. Iran is at 60%. Whether you agree with intervention or not, you do have to accept the factual premise that, in this instance, Iran would be the first country to do that and not develop a nuclear weapon. Do you really want to put that much faith into Iran?”

Common sense would tell you that passing this threshold proves they intend to develop a bomb.

Cuomo also claimed the regime was not weeks away from having a nuclear weapon. However, according to David Albright, a nuclear weapons expert, “if Iran has five to six months, the probability of success grows to 84 percent.”

“They could have been close, and they were, and efforts had been undertaken consistently,” Crowder said. “We saw the threat. That window is the judgment call. That is the argument we are having -- not could they or will they?”
