In case it was not clear to officials in California, this is America. In America, you have this little thing called “rights.” This is what makes it bizarre, tyrannical, and evil, to say the very least, that a woman is facing jail time for posting a video outside an abortion clinic.

Anastasia Rogers was arrested in Dec. after she posted a short clip on social media where she claimed Planned Parenthood is responsible for “unaliving” babies. The problem is that the left cannot handle the truth -- especially when that truth may result in fewer babies being “unalived.”

Nonetheless, she faces up to two years in prison for these thought crimes.

Jurors began their third day of deliberations for Anastasia Rogers on Thursday over her December arrest for a 13-second video about how Planned Parenthood staff “unalive” babies, according to news reports and court records. San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins is prosecuting Rogers under the state’s Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which criminalizes behavior targeting abortion clinics that is deemed to be intimidation or obstructing entry.

The worst part is not just that this woman’s rights have been massively violated but that San Francisco has zombies running around its streets and a rampant theft epidemic. Rather than focus on doing a thing or two to address the real criminals, the city would like to go after people bringing attention to the evils of Planned Parenthood. You cannot make this insanity up.

“A jury is currently deciding whether I can go to jail for up to 2 years over a pro-life Instagram reel,” Rogers, an advocate with Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, said in a Wednesday Instagram video. The trial began April 17, court records show.

The reel in question shows Rogers and a Planned Parenthood escort outside the clinic with captions contrasting how pro-lifers want to help women raise their children while clinic staff want to “unalive them.” A song plays in the background with the lyrics “Hey, is this illegal? Hey, it feels illegal,” mimicking a popular TikTok video trend. The clinic escort in the video later filed a complaint with Jenkins’ office, The San Francisco Public Press reported.

California’s FACE Act resembles a federal law with the same name that inspired the Biden-Harris administration to charge numerous pro-life advocates. President Donald Trump pardoned nearly two dozen pro-lifers who faced such charges in his first week back in office.

The fact that she was punished for simply trying to help women about to kill their offspring is sinister in nature. These babies mattered, but to the state, any attempt to prevent them from dying is a crime. It truly is evil.
