The deities or deities of content have blessed us with one more airport meltdown for 2023, and it's the most fabulous one yet. It involves an over-dramatic accountant, his husband in a matching sweater, their two dogs, a woman in a wheelchair, and an American Airlines employee who wishes they saved up their vacation days.

According to an in-depth report from The Daily Mail, it is unclear what set off the accountant, who we now know as Dustin. The best guess is the slight inconvenience of his flight being delayed. You or I would have taken the disappointing news and NOT been an asshole about it. Perhaps just listen to music or a podcast, or even grab another airport beer.

Dustin? He would not calm down, and he had an audience to perform in front of. "Hello, everybody! American Airlines f*cked us over!"

Dustin said the airport was keeping him from his dogs. His husband, Anthony, attempted to get him to calm down. The matchy-matchy sweaters are a lovely touch.

"Shelby and Dolly. Shelby and Dolly. Shelby and Dolly, remember them. Shelby and Dolly. Shelby and Dolly."

I think they're the dogs.

"You're not going to get on the flight and see your girls. Remember your girls! You don't care about the girls, you don't care about the girls!"

There is a part of me who thinks this could be staged. Just sayin', if we were to write a sketch about an airport lover's quarrel, our use of stereotypes would be every bit as over the top as this.

This poor woman in a wheelchair caught the vapors. It is unclear what she said, but Dustin responded with "F*ck off, b!tch." No snaps though. I was hoping he told her to f*ck off with two snaps. Possibly, two snaps in z-formation.

OBVIOUSLY, Tiffany Gomas is the 2023 Airport Meltdown of the Year. She is also runner-up for Woman of the Year, behind Guys Pretending to be Girls and Dominating in High School Track.

Dustin and Anthony provided some last-minute competition, though. The two earned themselves 2nd place. I'm sure Shelby and Dolly are both very proud.
