According to the Board of Elections in the City of New York, voters do not need an ID to vote. If you do not have an ID when you register to vote, something as simple as a utility bill would suffice. In other words, you do not need to prove who you say you are to vote in city elections. You do, however, need two forms of identification if you wish to shovel snow in the city. The standards are doubling here, and according to the left, this is racist.

According to Fox News:

New York City on Saturday put out a call for emergency snow shovelers ahead of a powerful nor'easter bomb cyclone, requiring workers to submit multiple forms of identification — contrasting the city's election policy for most voters.

To call this Jim Crow 2.0 would be an understatement.

Shovelers must also bring two small 1.5-inch square photos, two original forms of ID and copies, along with a Social Security card for registration, officials said.

Unlike the strict legal emergency worker guidelines, the New York City Board of Elections does not require most registered voters to bring an ID.

First-time voters are only required to bring one of three documents including: driver’s license number, non-driver ID number or the last four digits of a Social Security number.

Why is it that shovelers must prove their identity, but those same people don't have to prove it in an election? The logic is not very logical, and it proves just how much the left does not buy their own nonsense.

According to progressives, Black people are not capable of getting an ID. This is why voter ID is racist. But if that were true, this would mean the city is intentionally excluding these people from a temporary job position, and that would, in fact, be racist.

The left knows voter ID is not racist, which is why they have no trouble requiring it for a temporary city position. Racism is not something that should be tolerated in one area of life and ignored in another. If it were truly that evil to require people to prove who they say they are to vote, that's evil in every other part of life. It's not that complicated, and these people are fooling no one. So, it begs the question: What are the real movies behind the leftist fight to end voter ID? That is up for you to decide, but we can conclude it has nothing to do with racism, no matter how many lies they make up.
