Maybe one day the left will realize that hating Trump is no longer a winning campaign strategy. Maybe they won’t. Today, however, is not one of those days for Former U.S. Rep. Katie Porter, who is also running for California Governor. Porter has yet to get the memo that hating Trump as your entire personality is not popular with the American people. This is why she screamed "F TRUMP" during the California Democratic Party's 2026 state convention this weekend.

According to Fox News:

"Yeah, that's right, f--- Trump," she declared.

"Together, we're gonna kick Trump's a-- in November. I'll stand up to Trump and his cronies just like I did in Congress, with or without my whiteboard," she said.

Can anyone name one thing she has done to stand up to Trump? No? I didn't think so.

"But this election for governor is about more than defeating Trump. We know what Trump is willing to do. He’s willing to kill people in the streets, to rip away healthcare, and to ruthlessly attack our democracy. But this governor's race asks us, what are we willing to do, what is California willing to do for our democracy?" she said.

If Trump is willing to kill people in the streets, why has he not done that? If Trump is willing to rip away healthcare, why has that not happened? And if he is willing to attack democracy, why is democracy not under attack? These are things Porter has yet to answer, but she’s willing to pretend it's rooted in reality, rather than leftist imagination.

It’s also comical how she claimed this was not just about Trump, but in the same breath, made it all about Trump. The left has cried for nearly 10 years about all these things Trump will do, despite his not doing any of that. Does she really think voters are that stupid? Yes, she does think voters are that naive, but it fools no one.

To make California great again, voters should stay far, far away from this lunatic, as she does nothing but scream about Trump, as if that makes the state better off. To call that pathetic would be an understatement.
