Live by social media feedback, die by social media feedback. It's a lesson that all social media influencers learn at some point in their...I guess "careers." In the case of super-popular social media influencer Rep. AOC, she learned the hard lesson on the global stage. Where, at an event the streets were saying was to launch her presidential aspirations, it turns out she doesn't quite know things about stuff.

Taiwan. Trade partnerships. Not knowing much about "western culture" other than it's bad. When the Democrat Socialists (not to be confused with Communists, who are totes different) first cast her in the role of a congresswoman, she showed promise, and they had high hopes. Instead, after melting down to the New York Times about the media being unfair to her, she followed up that performance on Instagram.

Though, in her defense, it's not the most embarrassing thing to happen to a social media influencer this month. Check out what happened to one of her peers:

Part of the problem is that, sometimes, you need a man in your life who can tell you to calm down. If Rep. AOC had one, she may have been advised to put down the phone and walk away. And that the more she cries "I'M NOT OWNED! I'M NOT OWNED!" the worse it is for her, because it shows that she was, in point of fact, owned.

If anyone is happy with her performance, other than conservative bloggers granted yet another opportunity to point out what a silly girl she is, it's the people who work for Chuck Schumer. It's no longer critical for them to update their resumes. Though, then again, this is the same New York that just elected The Zohran. NY Democrats love electing theatre kids, so mayhaps Rep. AOC still has a chance on a statewide level.
