Portland Protesters Declare: "Burn Every Precinct to the Ground!"

Tuesday, in Washington DC, Ted Cruz held a hearing on Antifa violence in America. Only two Republicans showed up, and Democrats only showed up to blast Cruz. That night in Portland — which I think still counts as America (see THIS PORTLAND POLICE OFFICER CONFIRMS WHAT WE KNOW: THE REAL PROBLEM IS WHITE LIBERALS and WATCH THIS US ATTORNEY SWAT DOWN THE MEDIA ON THE PORTLAND RIOTS, ONE TALKING POINT AFTER ANOTHER) — protesters took to the streets again, setting fires and threatening that they were, and I quote, "going to burn every precinct to the ground." Also, the movie Kindergarten Cop was banned for some reason.

The following footage comes from a single local journalist, since the rest of the media only cares about riots if they can use them to dunk on Trump.

If people want to claim that this is still about what happened to George Floyd, sure. You want to tell me something that happened 1600 miles away is a reason to threaten the police in YOUR city and burn YOUR city down, whatever. But it's long past time for our elected officials, any of them, to do something. It's easy to say this is Portland's problem. My gut instinct is to say this is what the idiots who live there keep voting for, let them deal with it. The issue is that it's starting to spread to other cities because people watch and see everyone getting away with the destruction.

I'm not entirely sure what the answer is. But the media and our elected officials acting like they give a shit would at least be a start.
