You gotta hand it to Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler. He saw what a craptastic job the Seattle Mayor was doing with her riots, and offered to take some of the heat for himself. He's very gentlemanly like that. Honestly, the entire Pacific Northwest seems to be a hotbed for insanity lately, it's easy to get cities confused. Portland is the one that sucks the hardest most recently (see PORTLAND PROTESTERS ASSAULTED TWO OLD LADIES and PORTLAND PROTESTERS DECLARE: "BURN EVERY PRECINCT TO THE GROUND!").

The problem with Portland is that it sucks so hard now, the mayor can't pretend otherwise. This is where he'll try to pretend that he never actually supported the "peaceful" "protests." A point that White House Press Secretary and Smokeshow-in-Chief Kayleigh McEnany has no plans on letting him forget.

It took him 73 days I suppose to come up with that realization and what we're seeing in Portland with six nights in a row, riots being declared, on Wednesday, you had some of these rioters shining lasers in officers' eyes, disabled security cameras, broke windows, used boards to barricade the doors and start a fire with 20 sworn officers and civilian employees inside.

And another thing, Mayor Wheeler:

There seems to be a trend:

• Violence erupts in liberal cities.
• Donald Trump says, "Hey, look at that violence over there in those liberal cities, SAD!"
• Leftist mayors of these liberal cities say, "Violence, schmiolence. That's all fake news" as they stand in front of burning buildings. Because if they admitted what was really going on in the cities they would have to admit that Donald Trump was right.
• When forced between proving Donald Trump right or preventing old ladies from being attacking by Antifa goons, sorry about grandma's damn luck.

If Portland even still has a Republican Party, I hope they're actually putting some energy into recruiting candidates for whenever the next election cycle is. Start tying these city failures directly to Democrats then offer an alternative. Just as a starting off point.
