Joe Rogan Reveals What a YouTube Official Said About Hate Speech

Joe Rogan just perfectly summed up why we are at war with YouTube. Rogan was interviewing Douglas Murray, and mentioned this tweet:

Then he discussed a recent dinner conversation with a YouTube executive.

[I was having dinner with] a highly ranked person at YouTube. I brought this up. And the exact quote was "that was because it's hate speech."

And I said, "you said that so flippantly. Please tell me the contents of the conversation. Do you know what they talked about? How did you just say that."

She goes, "well I'm sure if someone marked it as a community guideline, that it must be hate speech."

I'm like, do you understand this was Douglas Murray and Sam Harris? I bet that's not what the conversation was about.

Right. Because the community guidelines never get abused.

The platform doesn't even pretend at this point. They simply chalk it up to "Well, if they got blocked, then obviously it must have been hate speech!" Now they apparently punish people for simply watching the wrong videos. Innocent videos some partisan douchetaco though was hate speech. Thou shalt not partake in wrong think, peon.

This is the battle.

This is why we have #MugClub.
