Watch: Russian Dude Shows How, Even After Sanctions, Gas Prices in Russia Are Much Cheaper Than in America

Sanctioning Russian oil is the big move the world thinks will make Putin knock off all that invading. There is a movement in America to stop importing Russian oil. It may cause American prices to go up, something the people who control Joe Biden want to happen. I'm not sure if this video helps or hurts the cause. I'm not even sure if this video is real. Literally, everything that winds up on social media from that entire corner of the planet needs to be viewed with skepticism. What I do know is this makes me angry. Even after sanctions, Russians are paying less at the pump than Americans. Like, 50% less.

At least according to the math from Russian YouTube star Dan Sheekoz, who's going viral for this drive around Russia.

Dan's bio says he is a "simple Russian man" whose "dream is to speak English" which he learns "from old American films." That comes across a little too much like Yakov Smirnoff doing a guest spot on Night Court in the 80s. Our standard viral video disclaimer applies twice as hard as it usually does. Okay? Okay.

But he seems sincere. The video is over twenty minutes long and he drove around to three different gas stations. He also doesn't appear to be doing this with an agenda as much as he just needed content and energy costs are what's hot right now. MAYBE he thinks paying $2.00 for a gallon of gasoline in America is expensive, and he is looking for our sympathy. Not knowing gas in our country is over $4.00 right now. And that our White House wants us to blame high prices on Sheekoz and his "Adorables."

All this video does is remind me that, war or no war, Joe Biden and the people who control him could be lowering energy costs in this country. Not making them more expensive and acting surprised by it.
