Watch: Facebook Executive Allegedly Caught Attempting to Meet With 13-Year-Old Boy

Two weeks ago, journalist Lara Logan left nearly all social media, citing the rampant exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

Why wouldn’t social media platforms work to combat such terrible actions from being taken on their platforms? Well…

Two days ago, a YouTube channel called Predator Catchers Indianapolis uploaded a video purportedly showing Jeren Andrew Miles, Meta/Facebook Manager of Community Development, caught by the group as he attempted to meet up with who he believed to be a 13-year-old boy.

Miles, who lives in Palm Springs, California, and traveled to Columbus, Ohio, where he was caught, had been exchanging sexually explicit messages with the person he believed was a young boy.

“I don’t know why any of this happened. It snowballed for me.”

Uh, huh…

Andy Ngo, an independent journalist, reports that “Miles serves on the board of directors for LGBTQ+ group, Equality California,” and that, after being caught by Predator Catchers, he completely deleted his social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

The man recording the interaction, Eric Schmutte, told Ngo that all the chat logs and evidence are being handed over to law enforcement both in Ohio and California.

I’m sure everyone will join me in hoping Miles is tossed in a jail cell before he can meet up with and abuse an actual young boy. Of course, there are other, more interesting and permanent solutions for pedophiles, as well.
