There is little Andrew Cuomo won't do to pander for his soon to be failed 2020 presidential campaign. So of course he was there with students who cut class because of a liberal activist group astroturfed protest they think guns are scary. But any leftist carnival barker can join a protest. It takes a real tool bag to take part in a die-in though.

Yes, a die-in is now a thing. Where people lie in the street pretending to be dead for... I don't know, I guess reasons.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) joined students protesting gun violence in New York City on Wednesday.

Cuomo and the students chanted “gun control now,” “enough is enough” and “protect our kids,” according to video from ABC News.

“As a father and a gun owner, I think it would be nice if the NRA listened to the millions of children across the country who are asking the President and the GOP Congress to stop this senseless gun violence,” Cuomo said.

I never would have guessed Chris Cuomo was the cool one.

The irony of all this isn't lost on me. Andy is doing this today after playing dead from the press for a few days while his boy was found guilty on corruption charges. I'm sure this has nothing to do with Miranda from Sex in the City looking to out-progress him either. It's because he cares about [solve for x] as an issue. That's why he decided to lay down in the street. For a photo op. That Andrew is a mensch.

Also, I can't confirm the rumors that he greenlit Death Wish 14 to be shot in the Boogie Down over the summer. Though IF he did, it's safe to assume taxpayers would be paying for it.
