Gas prices have skyrocketed since January 2021. Our betters in Washington DC tell us the way to lower your fuel costs is to switch from a gas-powered car to an electric vehicle. That's the way to fight inflation too! Use your $7500 tax credit to buy a vehicle that's now $8500 more expensive. But hey, at least you're saving money on gasoline! Until electricity becomes as expensive.

This is what's happening in the United Kingdom, according to The Daily Wire and their inferior drinking vessel. The price of charging an electric car on a pay-as-you-go basis at public charging stations has increased by 42% since May. EV users are now paying nineteen cents per mile, as opposed to the twenty cents gas-powered vehicle operators are paying. I converted it to American money since ours is the only currency that matters.

To be fair, if you charge your vehicle at home, you are only paying ten cents per mile. You need an electric car charging outlet installed in your house to do that. As the government tells us in America, you need to spend money to save money.

That means as banks stop proving loans for gas-powered cars, as states like California ban gas-powered vehicles outright while telling residents when they can and can't charge their EVs, and as the companies you bought your green products from not only have the ability to control those products after you bought them but abuse doing so, you're not even getting the savings you were promised by your government for making the switch.

It's almost as if all these changes have nothing to do with being energy independent or saving money. And that it's all about control and making you dependent on a different form of energy that your government controls. It all sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory.
