There's plenty of hypocrisy to go around when it comes to Supreme Court nominees. It's politics. People change their minds because of politics. Just be honest about it, or at least try to explain your change in opinion (see LINDSEY GRAHAM TELLS JUDICIARY COMMITTEE: WE WILL NOMINATE TRUMP'S JUSTICE and AOC BLASTS MITCH MCCONNELL OVER 'NOT HONORING' RBG'S DYING WISH). The rub is when the media only holds one side accountable, like how CBS This Morning tried to do with Ted Cruz. Seriously, it's like they've never heard of Ted Cruz before.

I saw your tweet saying Ted Cruz, "Why has he switched his positions?" And I'm curious, when you have Chuck Schumer or Joe Biden on, does your tweet say, "Why has Joe Biden switched sides?"

In CBS News' defense, it's hard to question Biden when he just leaves the money on the nightstand and refuses to talk to the media. As he already told the media he's not going to do today.

Of course, a media with the slightest bit of self-respect would demand answers anyway. But that's not the world we live in right now. Their job is to let Democrats lie, as long as the media is told they're pretty afterwards. As for the hypocrisy thing, I go back to Lindsey Graham's letter. Republicans should think about what Democrats would do in this situation, and then do that thing. That means Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett it is!
