People see the rampant crime happening in liberal cities and aren't sure how to stop it. A key first step would be to stop voting for liberal politicians who have made shoplifting all but legal. Some people angry about crime are unaware of the consequences of their actions. Others take matters into their own hands as they make punks their bitches. In the liberal utopia of San Francisco, where there is a hypodermic needle sticking out of a pile of human dookie on every corner, one customer had enough.

"Kevin" staged a citizen's arrest, which I never knew you could actually do.

"He kept calling for his friend, and I thought he was fibbing. I thought he was faking it. ...[The friend] came up behind me and tried to get me in a headlock... I picked him up by the groin and threw him to the ground."

The men got away. Police told "Kevin" it's better not to get involved. Getting involved can open samaritans like "Kevin" up to litigation and charges. The thugs robbing stores blind and making people afraid to leave their homes? Meh.

"Kevin" isn't amused.

"I could have been charged with assault and may be charged with assault. It's infuriating. We're all realizing it in Northern California, little, soft cities like this."

Realizing it is good. Realize it enough to vote out the leftist nincompoops who keep getting elected to your state.

At the end of the day, at least "Kevin" tried. You can't say that about the people who run San Francisco.
