But it's not much of a crime if you steal under $900 worth of things that don't belong to you. Recently, one dude rode his bike out of a pharmacy with a sack full of "liberated goods." Things have gotten so bad that Target recently announced the closing of all stores in San Francisco early to combat the city council-approved theft.

The ordeal pairs really well with a tweet thread from a "proud liberal, progressive San Francisco Democrat" that went viral over the weekend about just how sh!tty San Francisco has gotten.

People who live in San Francisco get the city they vote for. This isn't happening in right-leaning cities. This isn't happening in purple cities where Democrats actually have to answer to the voters. It's only in socialist paradises like San Francisco. The elected officials there know they can get away with any batsh!t crazy idea they come up with. What are the residents going to do? Vote for a Republican? If your city has a homeless problem, a streets filled with poop problem, AND a crime problem, look at who the elected officials are. Look at who you voted for the last time. Then punch yourself in the face.

I only ask that you do this before you flee the city. No one wants you bringing your failed San Francisco policies to the rest of America.
