The internet tells me Mike Pence took part in a CNN Town Hall for his presidential campaign. The internet also tells me Mike Pence is running for president. That should tell you how much of an impact the former vice president has made. He had a comment during the town hall that Joe Biden is not giving Ukraine money fast enough. Yes, that Joe Biden and that Ukraine.

Set aside that Nikki Haley has already laid claim to the "we should be giving Ukraine MOAR money" wing of the GOP. She is easier on the eyes and has a personality. And set aside that somewhere between "hey, this is good content" and "hey, Zelenskyy's a dickhead," there has been a question of how much money is too much when that money can be spent here fixing our own problems.

All the GOP primary's a stage and the candidates merely players. Either Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump is going to be the nominee. I get the roles Haley, Chris Christie, Tim Scott, and Vivek Ramaswamy are playing. Some are running a longshot campaign. Others are auditioning for a cabinet role in the new administration. There's been insinuation that some of them have struck deals with the big two (Haley/Vivek with Trump, Christie with DeSantis) to play attack dog. It's a time-honored process. The GOP primary is both a performance as well as a process. I understand how it works.

Mike Pence, why are you here?

In Pence's head, what exact role does he think he is playing? He can't win. He already put a book out. No one wants him on their team. He has negative charisma. Now he thinks he's going to be the hero of some silent majority of GOP primary voters who think Zelenskyy deserves more of our tax dollars.

I'm all about the primary process. Even as someone who is all-in for one of the candidates, I think six months of us debating is a good thing.

But no one likes you, Mike Pence. Go away.
