LA mayoral candidate boasts about her great accomplishment... painting over a crosswalk that's falling apart

Nithya Raman was first elected to the Los Angeles City Council in 2020. That means she has had nearly six years to prove why she deserves the people's vote to become one of the most powerful people in one of the most populated cities in America. One would assume she has a thing or two to brag about, considering how arrogant one must be to run for this position, but the best she has got was taking over eight months to paint a very small crosswalk.
Before you ask, no, this is not satire.
I bad to double check to make sure this is real.
Yes, the socialist candidate for LA mayor and current member of the LA city council is taking a victory lap for painting a crosswalk over a decrepit road full of cracks. https://t.co/Er03wuTIbH

How pathetic can these people get? While it is true that the people of Los Angeles pay way too much in taxes, ugly crosswalks are unacceptable; at best, it is also true that it does not take nearly 3/4th of the year to paint something a toddler could easily do with chalk. Are people really going to sit back and allow such incompetence to continue? It is so bad that it is unclear if she is mocking voters at this point, as she brags about literally nothing. The painting of the crosswalk is such a procedural item that it is astonishing she even made a post about it.
And while she literally brags about nothing, homeless zombies continue to wreak havoc in a once-great city. Ironically, she was the Chair of the Housing and Homelessness Committee from 2023 until August 2026. Calling her record nonexistent would not even begin to describe her failures.
To claim the people of Los Angeles are doomed would be an understatement. The people need to do better than voting for such incompetent buffoons.
