The problem with allowing the homeless to enter every single establishment, even though they live the most unsanitary lifestyles, is this story right here.
Santa Monica Library is facing criticism after an independent analysis found things that should not be found in a public library. This includes, but is not limited to, E. coli, fecal matter, and drug use.

Ew. Ew. Ew.
The fact that the left creates environments like this but demands you wear a face diaper for invisible sniffles tells it all.
Calls are growing for a deep cleaning of Santa Monica’s main library after an outside organization allegedly found fecal matter and E. coli on tables, computer keyboards and other surfaces.
John Alle, with the Santa Monica Coalition, hired an outside organization to collect samples inside the library. He says the results raise concerns about sanitation and safety.
Dr. Houman Hemmati, a Santa Monica resident and physician, discussed the alleged findings, saying fecal coliforms and E. coli should not be present on those surfaces.
Unsurprisingly, it is so much worse than that.
The coalition is also raising concerns about conditions inside the library, pointing to dozens of people lining up outside with blankets and suitcases when the facility opened Monday. The group alleges drug use, pornography and sexual activity inside the building.
Why does this kind of nonsense seem to be a theme in leftist-run areas? In Aug., Savannah Hernandez published a mini documentary showing similar conditions in Seattle’s $165 million downtown library.
FULL SEATTLE DOC: Take a walk with @savsays through Seattle’s $165 million downtown library. On its face, the building is beautiful but a look inside exposes the rampant drug use that has destroyed another library, creating an unsafe environment for women and children.Locals @choeshow and @weheartseattle state that this is the norm for Seattle residents as city-funded “harm reduction programs” across Seattle continue to hand out drug paraphernalia to addicts on the streets.@TPUSA

According to the post, “On its face, the building is beautiful but a look inside exposes the rampant drug use that has destroyed another library, creating an unsafe environment for women and children.”
Does the left just hate its residents this much? Or are they really this incompetent? The fact that behavior and conditions like in Santa Monica and Seattle continue to wreak havoc on taxpayer-funded libraries is truly unacceptable. Residents have to start demanding the bare minimum because this is certainly not it.
