It's been a tough couple of weeks for
. His boobery in Afghanistan has left the "most popular president ever" not so popular these days. The people who control Biden thought that his touring storm damage would be just the thing to turn things around. Not so much. In New Jersey,
they called him a tyrant
. In Lousiana, home to Hurricane Ida, utility workers turned their backs on Biden's motorcade in protest.
I should probably throw an "allegedly" in here because I don't know where this viral video came from. On the off chance I have the story wrong, I'm just following the journalistic standards of the
Shoutout to these utility workers in Louisiana who turned their back on Joe Biden
The worker filming the protest can be heard saying "this is pretty much how all of us feel about them" and "this is what they got, no respect." Unclear is what Joe Biden's response to this act of patriotic dissent was. But one can imagine.
BIDEN: Hey, they are showing me their backs. They must be saying that America is back.
AIDE: Yes, Mr. President. That's exactly what they're saying.
BIDEN: I just pooped.
Unclear is why they have no respect for Joe Biden. Or, for what SPECIFIC reason they have no respect for Joe Biden. They could be upset Biden is using Hurricane Ida's damage to get his Afghanistan incompetence out of the news cycle. Assuming the utility workers are union, even public employees, they could be upset with Biden mandating they make personal health decisions they don't want to make. You know which one. Rhymes with "Maxine."
Maybe the workers all have young children in school. And they are annoyed by Biden's obsession with wrapping their kids in masks any time they leave the house.
Maybe they are upset at the economy and how everything has gotten more expensive under Biden. Or maybe it's the border crisis. There are few things Joe Biden hasn't made a mess of.
Whatever the reason for this protest was, let's keep these workers in our prayers. If this video gets any more attention, the media will most likely start digging through each worker's Facebook page looking for something to attack them for. Anything to circle the wagons around our puddingheaded president.
