Over the weekend, Jimmy Fallon delivered one of the most cringe segments ever done on a late-night show, and that's saying something, given the trajectory of comedy over the past few years.

He performed a rap about the brand new SCHMOVID variant, because apparently people still care about that stuff:

This was almost as bad as Stephen Colbert's infamous "vax-scene" song. He really set the bar high with that one. I fear what future segment could possibly top it.

It's likely these late-night comedians sold out their audiences and gave up on putting any effort whatsoever into being funny in favor of taking money from Big Pharma.

Back in 2021, Jimmy Kimmel did a segment on the vaccine that was sponsored by Moderna. Who wouldn't go out to get a novel, experimental injection because Dr. Jimmy Kimmel answered all their burning questions?

"Ultimate Hangout" reporter Whitney Webb first drew attention to this now-viral video, showing Pfizer sponsoring...well, everything.

The United States and New Zealand are the only countries that allow drug makers to market their products directly to consumers. In 2020, TV ad spend for Pharma made up 75% of total US ad spend. Why are consumers expected to self-diagnose and seek out prescription medication without an initial recommendation from their doctors?

There's also a huge conflict of interest between Pfizer's "interest" in marketing the vaccine and their soaring profits throughout the pandemic. Before all this SCHMOVID nonsense began, most Americans probably wouldn't even have known the company by name. Pfizer roughly doubled its revenue from 2020-2021, and its SCHMOVID vaccine held 70% of the United States and European markets. Before the pandemic, its top sellers were a pneumonia vaccine, a cancer drug, and a fibromyalgia treatment.

But disregard all of that, because as our fearless President told us, we actually BEAT Big Pharma this year! Yay!
