Elon Musk charging people eight bucks a month for a blue checkmark is the worst thing he's done! Yes, even worse than eliminating the department whose job it was to answer the phone when the White House calls and tells them to censor something.

People with he/him in their bio can barely pee sitting down out of anger. The idea that anyone could get a blue checkmark, or that current bluecheckmarks might need to pay, is causing dumb statements like this.

Here's the thing with all the hurt butts over the eight bucks. Twitter employees charged (allegedly) a LOT more than that to press the button that gave you a blue checkmark. Popular account @WSBChairman -- unverified, yet with close to a million follower,s alleges: "Twitter employees were selling verification for upwards of $15,000. For certain accounts, mine included, they would refuse to verify you through the standard application and then privately offer to verify you for $$ behind the scenes."

He isn't the only one.

As for the former "here," as Elon dives deep into Twitter and uncovers all the shenanigans that we all know were going on but didn't have a peer-reviewed study independently fact-checked by independent fact checks to prove it, Musk is going to exposeit all. Not only is he going to expose it, but he is going to expose it AS he finds out. To quote one of the greatest philosophers of our time, all we need is just a little patience.
