Hold onto your butts. You are about to read one of the top five stupidest takes concerning the Tree of Life tragedy. Not as stupid as blaming the police for it. But close. The Pittsburgh Penguins paid tribute to police. Leftist "sports" website Deadspin is stocking up their safe spaces with Legos.

Glad you asked, Deadspin. The reason is two-fold. One, three police officers were shot by the gunman. Two, probably because most representatives from the Jewish community were too busy sitting shiva to care about a hockey game. Just a guess.

For those who don’t know, “Blue Lives Matter” is an explicit reaction by law enforcement to the Black Lives Matter movement, which aims to end racial prejudice in policing. It’s a rallying cry used by some of the most empowered workers in America as propaganda against vulnerable people who are simply asking not to be killed or abused by state actors, and its endorsement by the Penguins is a gross slap in the face to some of their most marginalized fans.

Forget the debate about whose lives matter. Or which lives matter more than other lives. The grey flag with the blue line is to remember police officers who have been injured or lost their lives in the line of duty. Just like the grey flag with the RED line is for firefighters who have done the same.

That Deadspin jumped right to raaaaaaaacism seems to show the author feels all cops are racist, underserving of tributes. Not just the "bad ones" liberals claim are the only ones they have a problem with. But all cops.

We suspected that's how leftists felt, but now we have one basically admitting it.
