Rep. Jasmine Crockett lost the Texas Democratic primary last night. This was inevitable, and the only person who could not see it coming was Crockett herself. Nonetheless, she still could not comprehend the results, despite never having proven she would represent the people well. She, however, believes far more sinister actors were at play, and has accused the GOP of rigging the election.

According to the New York Post:

US Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) told supporters she was going to leave her own watch party after votes in Dallas County were delayed.

“We need to see the Dallas County votes to see where they are,” she said, per NOTUS, accusing the GOP of having “specifically targeted” Democratic voters.

To call this rhetoric a threat to Democracy would be an understatement.

“I want you to enjoy yourselves,” the opponent of James Talarico said. “But I won’t be back tonight because I have no idea of when we’re going to get results, and I fully anticipate it won’t be until tomorrow.”

NBC News’ Steve Kornacki said on his livestream earlier, “even if the rest of the vote in Dallas County came in … she would still be well short here of that margin that Talarico has built.”

Look — if the GOP were going to rig anything, it would be in her favor. The Republicans will have a lot easier time winning if she is the Democratic candidate. But this is a fantasy that only lives inside Crockett’s imagination. There is no evidence that the GOP rigged the election. Why would they care? There is evidence, however, that she lost because she failed to deliver results to the people she was voted to represent.

The left has yet to realize that making your entire personality and agenda about hating Trump does not do them any favors in elections. This is exactly why they lost the presidential election in 2024, and precisely why the party continues to remain more and more irrelevant by the way.

When you combine her lack of results with her obsession over Trump, in addition to the fact that she is a blatant racist, you get the outcome she deserved Tuesday night.

It also does not help that she has the IQ of a goldfish, but that is neither here nor there.

While it is sad that her political career will be coming to an end in January, considering she makes for great content, the people of Texas deserve far better than what she brought to the table. It’s not even possible to name one accomplishment of hers that has made voters better off. Not one. This is because, again, she spends much of her time hating Trump and calling you a racist, while failing to deliver results for the people that elected her.
