Joe Biden says a lot of preposterous things. Most of the time, the "independent" "fact" checkers are able to circle the wagons and "what Biden meant to say" away the misinformation. But Joey claiming he lowered the deficit is too absurd for even CNN's Daniel Dale. And this is a guy who slowed down audio to prove that, no, Joe Biden did not once say "my butt's been wiped."

During one of Biden's recent rants about "MAGA," he claimed he lowered the deficit in comparison to the last guy. While true that the deficit is lower, Biden has nothing to do with it. The deficit was going down no matter who was president. It is "almost bizarro world" to claim Joe Biden had anything to do with it.

Even Moody's, Joe Biden's favorite "authority" to cite, is calling bullcookies.

"The actions of the administration and congress have undoubtedly resulted in higher deficits, not smaller ones. It is encouraging that the administration has proposed some initiatives to bring down the deficit, but so far none of those initiatives has been seriously considered."

This is like Joe Biden claiming he created jobs. People lost jobs when they were told to stop coming to them over the pandemic. When the pandemic ended and companies were allowed to rehire, they refilled those jobs. Biden didn't create them. Just like he has done nothing to lower the deficit.

When even CNN can't find an excuse to give him a "half true" or explain what they think the old man meant to say, you know it's bad.
