Bill Nye "the Science Guy" is everything one should loathe about "educated" people. He's smug, he's condescending, and he truly believes he knows far more than anyone else. In reality, he has no reason whatsoever to have this unearned self-importance. But he has a certain amount of celebrity status, so, well, he's physically incapable of not demonstrating these qualities.

Now, the bowtie wearing nerd has been recruited by the White House to appear in a video with an even dumber, aging man, former Vice President Joe Biden. The purpose of the video is to sell Biden's economic agenda to America and doing so by explaining exactly how it's going to help with climate change.

I don't know how building roads, free community college, and increasing the welfare state is going to help climate change, but I'm sure the brilliant Bill Nye can explain it. I seriously doubt it.

Why anyone would take Nye seriously, though, is beyond me. You wouldn't trust a high school science teacher to lecture the entire country on climate change, would you? Of course not. Bill Nye only has as much education as them.

He has a BS in Engineering. That's it. He's not a scientist.

He's a television personality, though. And we know how much those types love to run their mouths about political topics. Bill Nye definitely loves to insert his idiotic ramblings into politics to keep himself relevant.
