If leftists weren’t constantly lying about the Orlando attack, they would have nothing to say (see Smackdown: Samantha Bee Makes Idiotic Gun Control Remarks. Crowder Rebuts…). At least until a man wanted to use a ladies’ room. Then they’d find more words. But back to the subject at hand. Take this example, from a CNN interview with Rick Scott: CNN keeps trying to blame guns and the Governor’s policies for the shooting. The Governor? Not having it…
“Nobody would think that anybody on a terror watch list should have a gun, right? We all can agree that we don’t want somebody who’s going to do something like that to be walking around with any weapons. But the Second Amendment didn’t kill anybody. This is ISIS. This is evil. This is radical Islam.”
At least that’s what the facts clearly state. The killer himself claimed he was acting in the name of Islam. As in, it’s not up for debate. As in he did it for ISIS. As in he did it for Allah. As in he was a Muslim. Allahu Akbar, boom boom, boom boom.
But the press has an agenda so, facts schmacts.
“Yes, ISIS, terrorism could be to blame for this, but can you accept any responsibility for the gun laws here in Florida? The fact that it is easier to walk out of a gun store in a half hour with an AR-15 that can kill more people faster than a pistol.”
Let’s clear something up here. CNN thinks the Governor of Florida should accept responsibility because people can buy a gun that wasn’t used in the Orlando terror attack? Added emphasis for importance, because this little truth nugget keeps getting ignored.
Scott wasn’t budging.
“Let’s have a conversation about how we destroy ISIS. Where’s that conversation?”
In other words – simmer down while the adults talk, CNN. Still, this continued to go on, CNN ignoring the facts while Gov. Scott focused on the real issue. Which is that ISIS is the enemy… not guns that can save you from ISIS. Remember how we said the leftist media is a rancid pile of fecal matter? Yeah, it applies here. Nothing is more important to them than their anti-gun narrative. Not the facts. Not even the gays. Protect the narrative of “BOOM-BOOM STICKS BAD!” at all costs.
Also, sidenote: why is the media all in a twist over how “easy” it is to buy a rifle in a country where it’s legal to buy rifles? Rhetorical question, obviously. The media hates you can buy guns at all. But hey, you thinking the left is after your guns? You’re just paranoid. Incidentally, here’s an OpEd from Rolling Stone admitting as much.
