Scott Jennings is fed up with everything CNN gets wrong about Minneapolis and ICE, explains it slowly to Kasie Hunt

Straight fire from CNN’s @ScottJenningsKY after being asked whether he supports ICE asking people they stop to “validate” their citizenship...

“I do carry my passport, actually. Everywhere I go. Keep it in my backpack. I travel a… pic.twitter.com/6NXW4adILM

At this point, we need to set an OVER/UNDER for when Scott Jennings gets cancelled on CNN. The fact that he's been allowed to express an opinion that Democrats disagree with on TV for this long devies gravity. Let alone, do so on a daily basis while making the journalsimers who work for CNN look like dinkuses. Hi, Kasie Hunt.
I've lost track of how many times the left and the media (but I repeat myself) have moved the goalposts. It's because most of the "information" comes from activists who are trained to know whether they lie and/or spread dishonestly edited, out-of-context videos; they can count on most of the media to swear by it. That's why, the day after an ICE agent was attacked while attempting to enforce the law, Kasie wants to know if Jennings was comfortable living in a world where ICE can "ask you for your papers."
Why? Because that was the talking point of the day. Jennings wasn't amused. He also had no problem showing Kasie his papers. I too have my driver's license on me at all times.
I'm comfortable with the federal government enforcing U.S. immigration laws and these kinds of distractions take away from the story of the day. You had an ICE agent last night chasing down a Venezuelan national. That Venezuelan national attacked him and fought him. Two other Venezuelan nationals ran out of a house and attacked him with brooms, handles, and shovels, which are deadly weapons. He had to discharge his weapon. Three illegal aliens trying to kill an ICE agent in the street, and we're worried about interactions like this? This is outrageous.
The state of Minnesota is in a state of insurrection right now. The governor is egging it on. The mayor is egging it on. If they want it to stop, then cooperate with the federal government, as states and cities are doing all over this country.
Part of the issue is that CNN has yet to confirm that the ICE agent was attacked. But rest assured, they're totally working on it:
We’re still working to confirm the details of the incident with the shooting that involved the Venezuelan nationals, that Scott is highlighting. Those details are not details that we as an organization have reported at this point.
At this point, it had been over the day. What's the OVER/UNDER for how long it would take CNN to confirm if the ICE agent had so much as liked a meme that someone was wearing a MAGA hat in?
It would be nice if there were an institution we, the people, could depend on to provide us with accurate information that would keep us informed. Instead, not knowing what to believe, it many times boils down to who you want to give the benefit of the doubt to. Agitators who are funded and trained to spread propaganda because they know that if they lie, they can rely on the media to swear by it? Who don't think ANY immigration laws should be enforced, who keep moving the goal posts until they find a talking point that resonates? And who hate you and would have your life destroyed because you have a different opinion than them and express it on the internet?
Or we can give the benefit of the doubt to the law enforcement officers who those people are targeting, attacking, and threatening. Because, again, those people don't think ANY immigration laws should be enforced.
Being constantly forced into a situation where you are expected to choose one, in this instance, the LEOs are the clear choice.
