Marco Rubio assaults a dog hand puppet, and he may have just become the 2028 frontrunner
Louder with Crowder every weekday at 11:00 AM Eastern, only on Rumble Premium!
The Daily Show unleashes Triumph the Insult Comic Dog on Marco Rubio.
"What's the matter, Mr Secretary? Afraid of a little dog?
Just tell me what country you're attacking next, I'm trying to win some money on Polymarket!"
Rubio: "This dog is a pain in the ass." pic.twitter.com/5qZMM1PmVb

The White House Correspondents' Dinner is one of the most useless events subjected on We The People. Nothing but smug journalismers giving each other reach-arounds and reveling in the misguided perception of their own awesomeness. Apropos of nothing. journalisming is one of the least-trusted institutions in America.
Granted, this year's had some excitement, but as an event in general, it isn't even good enough to poop on. Which is why it was surprising that Triumph the Insult Comic Dog was there.
After his heyday of appearing with Conan O'Brien, Triumph was forced to take a job with The Daily Show to make ends meet. He got a little too close to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who no doubt is on high alert with Venezuelans and Iranians wanting to unalive him out there. He didn't have a rolled-up newspaper to take to Triumph's nose, so he punched him instead.
In fairness to Triumph, the Polymarket question was fair. We'd like to see a similar one asked of Nancy Pelosi, but she might think Triumph was a real dog and call the authorities to have him put down.
Heaven forbid we be allowed to enjoy a laugh with each other without the left and the media (but I repeat myself) politicizing it. Jon Stewart should be ashamed of himself.

The streets say Marco Rubio is widely considered a 2028 Republican front-runner, and it's a coin flip between him and Tom Homan over who is the MVP of the Trump Adminstration. Rubio's knack for being personable, one that is lacking in 90% of politicians from both parties, has always made him stand out. I'm not saying a clip of him arguing with a puppet makes him THE frontrunner. But again, whenever any politician shows any personality -- actual personality, not "trying to act normal" because their team of advisors says they need to -- the internets take notice.
As far as I'm concerned, the job is still JD Vance's if he wants it. The media will play up a "feud" between Vance and Rubio, but I see no world where Rubio runs if Vance decides to. It wouldn't surprise me if they've already discussed a Vance-Rubio ticket with each other.
