Nancy Pelosi got her hair did
has there been such a blatant example of "the rules are for the commoners" liberal hypocrisy. Meet Kirsten Gillibrand, Senator of New York. She is the
least authentic politician you will ever meet
. Gillibrand is a one-time
failed presidential candidate
. As opposed to her predecessor Senator Hillary Clinton, who failed twice. The Democratic senator does not feel she has to follow the mask mandates the Democratic governor of her state is forcing on everyone else. And Innovo Kitchen, the upstate New York restaurant that IS expected to follow the mandates, is less than amused.
I believe this is what the kids refer to as "being put on blast."
Two, according to the restaurant's Instagram page, Gillibrand blew past the restaurant manager before she could be asked to put her mask on. Her guest was wearing one, and I assume saw the giant "masks are required" sign. You can see by her body language in the video, Gillibrand strutted past the little people as if she was a Kardashian.
The restaurant says:
"The masks are a mandate from the Governor. As good citizens, agree or not, we must follow our leaders. Her guest is graciously wearing one. I guess Senator Gillibrand thinks that the Governor is wrong or she is special and above the rules."
The governor is Kathy Hochul, who is also a Democrat. In December, Hochul announced a brand new mask mandate. Then she found out it was bad politics. And then she said the state wasn't going to enforce it, it was up to the counties and the businesses to enforce it.
New York is considered a Democratic state. But if not for four downstate counties full of low-information voters, it would not be. A spokesman for Gillibrand has yet to issue a response where the senator doesn't take responsibility for her actions.
