Due to the success of Donald Trump in owning the left as hard as he has over the past decade, Democrat politicians think they can copy his success by being sh*tposting edgelords on the X-Twitters. Much like when the left tried talk radio, they suck at it. The latest to attempt is NY Governor Kathy Hochul, whose "press account" thought starting a beef with our second greatest living president, Dave Portnoy, was a good idea.

The "Governor Hochul Press Office" account is a direct rip-off of the "Governor Newsom Press Office" account. That's where Newsom's communications guru misdiagnosed Trump's success as being because of his being a social media troll, and believed doing the same would send Newsom to the White House. While content creators in legacy media who share Newsom's political opinion (i.e., everyone who works in social media) thought it was brilliant, normal people point and laugh if they even know the account exists.

Governor Hochul's Press Office was inspired and decided that El Pres was a good first target. It started with Hochul begging the taxpayers she chased to Florida to come back to New York and be "patriotic" by letting her tax them so she can pay for her agenda. Mind you, this is the same woman who in 2022 told New Yorkers, if they don't support her agenda, to get the hell out.

El Pres was one of the New Yorkers who left for the People's Republic of Desantis and mocked Hochul's desperation. So the Gov. Hochul Press Account dunked on him by bringing up...Soul Cycle?

Confused? So was I. Apparently, this was a reference to Portnoy's girlfriend cheating on him with a Soul Cycle instructor ten years ago, and his crashing out about it on the internet. I guess someone Googled "Portnoy controversy," and this was the first story AI brought up. I could think of at least five more recent Barstool controversies, but who am I to tell social media professionals to do their job? After all, they're professionals!

Here's the thing, though. It's difficult to make fun of someone who, besides being willing to make fun of themselves, doesn't let their embarrassment get in the way of making money.

Because of all the New Yorkers fleeing the state after Kathy Hochul and her Democrat Party have made it unaffordable to live here, the state is set to lose two congressional seats in 2030. This goes with the one seat we lost in 2020. And the two seat we lost in 2010. During that time, Hochul has been either governor or lieutenant governor for over ten years.

But hey, I'm sure social media trolling will fix things!
