Joe Biden either lied about illegal immigrants NOT getting cash payouts by his administration, was confused, or didn't know it was happening. Those are the options. I supposed a fourth option will be what "independent" "fact" checkers will claim, that whatever the White House says happened is the truth. But for those of us with functioning eyes and, unlike our president, brains that aren't 51% tapioca, it's one of those three.

On Saturday, President Biden freaked out on a reporter who asked about it. I think it was DOOCY. It sounded like DOOCY.

Two things automatically come to mind. One, the President of the United States seems angrier about the plight of people here illegally than he does about the problems of legal citizens. That could be because, in the latter case, his policies are the reason for the problems. The other thing is that if Biden's only problem with DOOCY's original question was the price tag, he could have just said that. He didn't.

So let's recap:

The Wall Street Journal reports the Department of Justice is discussing cash payout for illegal immigrants, to deal with the "lasting psychological trauma" they suffered by Donald Trump enforcing immigration laws.

Joe Biden says it's not true.

The ACLU (?!?) says it IS true, and that President Biden doesn't know what his Justice Department is doing.

The White House is forced, once again, to backtrack on something Joe Biden said aloud. "Ackshually, what the president meant to say was..."

Joe Biden lashes out in anger with another of his old man meltdowns. It is the reader's discretion to decide how much you want to attribute that to senility and/or alleged dementia. I would NEVER claim those things about Joe Biden. I'm not a doctor.

Everything goes back to my original point: Either Joe Biden lied when he was first asked about it. Joe Biden was confused by a straightforward question. Or Joe Biden has no idea what his administration is doing. Biden lying is the least troubling of those options.
