There’s a big difference between being 16 and 35. One of the main differences is that one age group consists of teenagers, and the other consists of grown adults. Whatever your priorities were at 16 is almost certainly not the same when you’re over double that age. There are many reasons for this, including — but not limited to — the fact that you’re doing what millennials refer to as “adulting” at age 35. This, along with the fact that your brain is considered fully developed.
Now, you may be asking why I’m writing out these very obvious facts. Well, that’s because Kamala Harris still can’t seem to comprehend why she lost — but even she’s smart enough to realize that her campaign heavily relied on naive voters. And with all due respect, many people at the age of 16 are more naive than they will be at 35. This is why she would have had a much better chance of winning the election had we allowed 16-year-olds to vote.
Thus, according to her, 16-year-olds should be given the “right” to vote.
I know, you know, and your grandmother knows that this is an incredibly stupid idea. Firstly, why give people the right to vote who would otherwise be treated as children everywhere else under the law? This age group cannot do many things without their parents’ permission, and it’s because the younger you are, the less likely you are to correlate present actions with future consequences. In other words, their brains are not fully developed.
This is often why high schoolers lean liberal. The left would lose far fewer elections if they had this vote, which is one of many reasons why we must never let it happen.
Kamala is out there promoting her new book and sat down for an interview on The Diary of a CEO podcast. That’s when she claimed, “I think we should reduce the voting age to 16.” She believes that if we lower the voting age, young people will have a greater influence on things like climate change and the job market. But what she refuses to realize is that many of these problems are entirely the doing of the left.
It’s the left who made college a total scam. It’s the left that artificially raises wages, which puts us in a perpetual cycle of fighting against an increased cost of living. It’s the left who made Gen Z and the younger generation so afraid of the weather that many have even gone as far as choosing not to have kids. This is all the left — and coincidentally, it’s also the left that wants to lower the voting age to 16. Funny how that works out, isn’t it?
Kamala Harris says a lot of stupid things, and this is both stupid and dangerous. The last thing we need to do is lower the voting age — but that is exactly what the left needs, as they become more and more irrelevant by the day. However, at this point, that is nothing more than a personal problem, and we can confidently say Kamala Harris will never be President of the United States. And well, at least we have that going for us.
