Call me crazy, but to start treating Americans kindly again, don't you think the last thing we should be doing is violently beating a Pianta of the President of the United States? Last time I checked, this was not what you would call “kind.” However, this is precisely why we have the saying: “If the left did not have double standards, they would have none at all.”

A video has been making the rounds on the interweb that depicts an elderly woman violently and passionately beating up a Donald Trump piñata, as her fellow leftists cheered her on. The ironic part about this is that she did so while wearing a “Make America Kind Again " shirt. Even worse, though, is that on the back, it had some cringeworthy phrase along the lines of, “Do unto others as you would want done to you.” While it is unclear how she would feel if someone started beating up a piñata made to represent her, we can almost be certain she would not classify this as “kind.”

The video even got crazier when another demonstrator joined in with vengeance. It wasn't just that what they did was embarrassing, but it was that they did it so passionately. Their anger was on full display, and the fact that they had no shame in their game proves how much cognitive dissonance they likely have.

If they hope to convince the other side that they are the compassionate ones, this is the last thing they should be doing. The problem, though, is that in their eyes, they are fighting literally Hitler. Not only are they naive, but they are painfully wrong. And to claim they are on the wrong side of history would be an understatement.
