Michelle Obama lashes out at who she claims are real Americans

In June 2012, former President Barack Obama announced the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This means that if your parents brought you here illegally as a child, you were afforded special privileges solely because the system deemed you a victim. There are many reasons why we can conclude this program was illogical, immoral, and illegal, but that is neither here nor there. The damage has been done, and there is no going back at this point. Nonetheless, the so-called net benefit this program has brought to this country certainly does not outweigh the damage. This is why it is bizarre and delusional for Michelle Obama to claim Dreamers “are America,” whatever that even means.

Speaking at the opening ceremony for the Obama Presidential Center, Michelle decided to praise illegal aliens more than she did Americans. That tells you all you need to know about her husband’s legacy, and it certainly is not positive.
Dreamers aren’t Americans, too. They are America. They are the beating heart of this country. They are us and we are them … And to refuse to respect the contributions and experiences of people who are not exactly like us, puts us all at risk.
The problem with this statement is that it is not rooted in truth. You see, I just checked all the founding documents in existence, and I am having trouble seeing how foreign nationals are somehow “American” solely because they have irresponsible parents who did not care that their actions would affect their children’s lives. While it is possible these parents thought a life in America "undocumented" was superior to where they came from, I digress. This certainly does not make them “America,” nor does it somehow correlate to the “beating heart of this country.”
She also claimed refusing “to respect the contributions and experiences of people who are not exactly like us, puts us all at risk.” It is unclear what contributions we are to respect, as she did not name any, but why is it that the left always demands we take the feelings of foreign nationals into account and not the majority of Americans who respect federal laws? Why is it that their “experiences” are somehow something worthy of respect, when they did nothing significant? Again, this is not to bash dreamers; Michelle already unintentionally did just that; this is to say that praising a dreamer solely because you are a dreamer is not logical.
