Kevin Bacon changes his name to "Kevin Bean," dons a bean suit in the latest vegan propaganda video

The problem with veganism is that it is an inherently flawed ideology. It relies on the notion that by eating meat, you contribute to the exploitation of animals. Forget that humans have been eating animal foods since farming was invented, but I digress. Ironically, though, many have argued that plants contribute to far more animal and bug deaths than vegans could have ever imagined.
The left has made it clear they will not rest until every American becomes vegan. This is why Kevin Bacon, who would now like it if you referred to him as Kevin “Bean,” is recommending you join him in abstaining from meat on Wednesdays.
It's Beansday!
The day we swap meat for beans, don our bean suit, and let the bean fireworks fly.

Putting on that suit was a choice. A choice he did not have to make.
Per the Humane World for Animals:
Humane World for Animals, formerly called the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International, is launching Beansday, a simple and healthy weekly habit that will spare animals’ lives. Every Wednesday people are encouraged to swap meat for beans—one small weekly habit that can create meaningful change for animals, our planet and our health.
The vegans would like it if you believed beans were a superior health food to meat. The problem with that is that it contains this little thing called "anti-nutrients." Meat, on the other hand, does not. Common sense would tell you the logical choice is to consume the product that does not cancel out nutrients and go with the more bioavailable one, but sense is not so common among vegans.
To kick off Beansday, award-winning actor and animal ally Kevin Bacon is temporarily renaming himself Kevin “Bean.” The playful reveal happens in a new social-first Public Service Announcement created with Humane World for Animals, rolling out across platforms.
Devoted to the animals living on his 40-acre farm, Bacon’s—or Bean’s—involvement in this campaign underscores the connection between the food choices we make and the animal lives we impact. By temporarily changing his last name from “Bacon” to “Bean,” he is encouraging others to participate in Beansday and see how a simple shift can make a major difference.
The problem with claiming this will make a major difference is that it will make no difference at all. At best, five people might eat beans next Wednesday and then forget about it for the rest of their lives. Subsequently, they would likely have contributed to more animal deaths than if they made the “logical” choice and gone for the animal product.
That being said, this is a free country. You can eat beans, you can eat meat, and you can eat both. The issue, however, comes from villainizing meat products as if it's bad for you, the animal, and the earth. That is not the case, and because of that, vegans and their anti-nutrients should be mocked into oblivion.
