It's been what feels like eleventy years since Donald Trump has been involved in politics. You would think that his haters at this point would know if you complain about something he does, he's just going to do it over and over again. Hence, Hakeem Jefferies, aka Temu Obama, having a meltdown over Trump putting him in a sombrero and a mustache after a meeting.

As ABC News points out, it didn't actually happen. Trump shared an AI-generated deep fake. It was to symbolize Democrats shutting the government down to give healthcare to illegal immigrants.

Had you not been here in this moment, as you were when you doxxed meme makers and fact-checked whether or not Trump knocked Joe Biden over with a golf ball, we the people might have been led to believe Temu Obama left a White House meeting wearing a sombrero and a fake mustache. We know now that he did not do that, a point T.O. drove home during an appearance on MSNBC.

Jefferies was outraged that Trump would make him look so stupid. So Trump did something to make him look more stupider.

There goes Donald Trump, using the Internet to dismiss and make his opponents look ridiculous. Just like Hitler did. According to fascism experts, sharing memes is the fascisty fascism that a facist can fascist.

As for the shutdown itself, feel free to flag me for having a first-world problem here, but my least favorite mornings as a political blogger are when the story dominating the news is one I give zero f*cks about. What I lack in interest in a government shutdown, I'm all-in on when it comes to mariachi content. If Trump stayed in bed all day putting sombreros and fake mustaches on his haters, we the people would be ok with it.
