During a speech, Obama implored his media to compare gun deaths to terrorism. He's in the midst a full on assault to strip Americans of their gun rights, and he's barely hiding behind a burka as he does it. Welcome to a lame duck Obama presidency. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

Heeding the call to their master, the media tripped and fell over themselves like there were heading to Mecca in order to get Obama his precious chart. Well, Vox, CNN, the ever-reliable Rolling Stone, MSNBC and even gay Lance Bass from boyband N'Sync all jumped through the hoop and came up with this:

A chart. American deaths from guns and American gun deaths through terrorism. The point of the chart? GUNS ARE EVIL, OMG! and terrorism is no biggie. Like ISIS and the beheadings and the rapes? Don't worry about that. BUT THE GUNS ARE COMING FOR YOU!

Here's the problem with this chart: it doesn't distinguish the causes of deaths from guns. Because guess what? Most gun deaths are suicides, not mass shootings at schools. From Pew Research:

In terms of both raw numbers and population rates, gun suicides have been on the rise in recent years, even as gun homicides have fallen. In 2010, the gun suicide rate was 6.3 per 100,000 people, compared with 3.6 per 100,000 for gun homicides.

At 87%, males are the vast majority of gun suicides. By age group, people 65 and older have the highest firearm suicide rate: 10.6 per 100,000 people.

The Obama-inspired chart also doesn't take into account accidental deaths from guns. It doesn't take into account how many of those gun-deaths are in Chicago between gangs? Or between gangs in general. There's no distinguishing factor.

Whereas acts of terror are committed with malice, religious hatred, or genocide, and in certain parts of the WORLD. Other than September 11, and the Boston Marathon bombing, terrorism on American soil is rare. Gun ownership in America? Not rare. There are hundreds of millions of guns in America.

Obama's gun violence vs. terrorism chart is something we like to call apples and oranges. Only Obama is throwing the fruit at us, telling us to just take it, make juice from it, survive on it, DRINK AND LOVE IT OR ELSE.

Another hollow point before we go: these school shootings all happen on gun free zones. Their gun control policies are already implemented and in full swing at these schools and in places like Chicago. And yet who's to blame for the gun violence? America and its right to bear arms.

Do not fall for this crap, America. We have the right to keep and bear arms. Period.

Also, is Obama giving up his armed security anytime soon? Just wondering.
