Daycare Employees Accused Of Running Child Fight Club, Encouraging Toddlers To Assault Each Other
There are many people among us who disregard the dignity of human life, especially that of children. When a culture normalizes these sorts of attitudes through things like abortion, it is not surprising when we see people engaging in evil behaviors that are intended to be destructive toward kids.
Unfortunately, we have a disturbing story coming out of South Carolina for you.
Two daycare employees are accused of running a child fight club, where they allegedly encouraged toddlers to assault each other.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ericka Sherai' Jones and 56-year-old Serena Caldwell were arrested last week and charged with nearly 15 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and 15 counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.
By the pictures, it appears that “Serena” may actually be a man….
Unfortunately for the two evil women (maybe not? Maybe one is a trans dude?), a child broke the first rule about fight club.
Last month, a child allegedly informed his mother that the kids were told to hit each other by staff at Kids Unlimited of Prosperity in Newberry County.
Security camera footage showed that both teachers told at least 14 children to hit other children as a means of punishment or to entice them to follow rules, according to the Daily Mail.
Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster said that none of the children’s injuries were serious, but the emotional toll could last a long time.
“It was a situation where they were participating in it by encouraging the kids, and they kind of looked at it as something maybe almost equivalent to a sporting event where they were kind of trying to motivate the kids into participating in that,” he said.
Caldwell is also accused of striking one of the young children with a box of baby wipes.
“We’ve had daycare workers that have assaulted children, and daycare workers that may have taken punishment a bit too far, but nothing like this,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.”
He added that he believes the two women are rogue employees and do not represent the daycare.
“The daycare did exactly what the law says and maybe more, they went above board,” he said. “When they found out about it, they didn’t intend to take care of this on their own.”
Even though the owners of the daycare were not directly involved, do you think there should be some accountability in this situation? When you have a company dedicated to the care of children, security footage should be checked more often than not.
But enough is enough. Every daycare should be legally mandated to have live security cameras that parents can check at all hours of the day. That will surely be effective in preventing a number of crimes against children, which are the worst crimes imaginable.
