Chris Pratt's Awesome, Heartfelt Advice to Fans...

Brodigan
January 28, 2016

Here at LwC, there is nothing we don't love about Chris Pratt. Double-negative, I know. He hunts and kills his own food. He's a celebrity who isn't afraid to express his love/gratitude toward our country and veterans. He also doesn't mind us objectifying him, which - regardless of sexual preferences - many of us do. Iz normal.

This advice and motivational write-up he gave to his fans on Instagram is just one of many reasons...

I am doing what I love. It doesn't feel like work. Even though it is. I'm having fun. I'm overcome with joy and gratitude.

I felt like posting this to say to anyone out there chasing your dream... Fifteen years ago I felt the same passion I feel today, but I had very little opportunity. I had to hustle hard and go hungry. I had to eat sardines and figure out how to get gas money. And I never had a plan B. I never stopped believing. Ever. Don't give up. Apply constant pressure for as long as it takes. It will break before you do. Go get it.

It's an election year, so you're going to be hearing a lot of celebrities talking about what the government can do for you. It's a nice change of pace to read one who's writing about what you can do for yourself.

I know this isn't a blatantly political message from Chris Pratt, and it's certainly no endorsement of Ted Cruz. But the reason it stands out (and the reason the left has already taken aim on him) is because it's inherently different from the leftist narrative coming from the media/entertainment industry. The only reason a seemingly positive message like this could irk anybody is due to it flying in the face of the leftist dependency message.

Leftists tell you that you can't make it in America. Leftists tell you the cards are stacked against you. Leftists tell you hard work isn't enough. Leftists tell you that you can't pay for your own healthcare. Leftists tell you that you can't get paid what your worth. Leftists tell you social classes are immobile.

Essentially, leftists are telling you that Chris Pratt's words are a lie. That his story might as well be a Unicorn fable, because it doesn't exist in reality. Well, here's Chris Pratt, in the flesh, whose very existence proves you wrong. Not only that, but he's telling everybody else that they can prove leftists wrong, and they can do so through hard work, determination and not listening to, well... leftists.

Exactly what Conservatives have always said. Chris Pratt, stay studly.
