WATCH: Budweiser Releases Pathetic New Ad In Desperate Attempt To Regain Conservative Support
Unless you've been under a rock for the past week, you're probably at least tangentially aware of the whole Bud Light/ Dylan Mulvaney controversy. Bud Light sponsored Dylan Mulvaney (a famous biological male on TikTok who dresses up as a girl) and many Americans got angry. Bud Light refused to respond, their parent company Anheuser-Busch lost a lotta money, then eventually issued a lackluster statement, without an apology. Therefore conservatives remain angry.
But would it make you feel better to know they made a new ad about a horse?
The new ad begins with a narrator's voice saying, “This is a story bigger than beer. This is the story of the American spirit.” Groan.
It then shows the horse running around very American looking things and places. None of which have to do with beer.
Budweiser clearly gathered its marketing team and brainstormed a list of "conservative" imagery on a whiteboard, and then edited together footage of a horse running in front of said imagery. American flag, check. NYC skyline, check. Farmland, check. What else could us little conservatives possibly want?
Luckily, people ain't falling for it. Check out some of the responses over on Twitter.
“Hey @AnheuserBusch, if you're at a point where you're literally referencing 9/11 in hopes that it would make us flyover yokels run to the store to salute a 12-pack of Bud Light, you should just apologize instead. Hoping we're stupid enough to buy this ad is insulting.”— Brandon Morse (@Brandon Morse) 1681671724
“I'm sorry, but this is just INCREDIBLY offensive. Bud needs to apologize and provide assurances they're going to stay out of politics.

Instead, they tweet out B-roll of flags and invoke 9/11?

GET BENT”— Mark Hemingway (@Mark Hemingway) 1681748514
“I’m sure every Fortune 500 company has a “anti-woke backlash antidote” marketing campaign in their arsenal.

Just throw some “Yellowstone” aesthetics out there and ride out the news cycle.”— Jake Bequette (@Jake Bequette) 1681748174
Daily Caller even put out their own version of the ad, and it blows the real one out of the water if you ask me.

While this is very silly and rightfully frustrating, it's not at all surprising. These corporations are really, severely out of touch with not just conservative Americans, but most normal people in general. They have literally no idea what to do if not promote the diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda stamped into their brains. They've all been brainwashed.
I do think it's possible to return to the pre-brainwashing era, when companies actually did support traditional morals and values and weren't trying to destroy America from within. It'll take some work, sure. But it's possible.
