LOL: Brian Williams Criticizes 'Fake News.' Yes, Really...
Some posts, you just have to go right to the YouTube video. Take it away Brian Williams.
Yes, as in Brian Williams Lies… ABOUT HIS LIES. That guy.
So we're clear, don't anyone get it twisted. The stories Williams brought up in this clip are ridiculous. You'd never read stories like them at LwC. Okay? Okay.
But this is the same Brian "Sniper Fire" Williams who, in 2015, was suspended as the anchor of NBC’s Nightly News and eventually removed from the position after it was discovered that he falsely claimed he was on a helicopter under enemy fire in Iraq in 2003.
Similar to his media cousin Katie "Creative Editing" Couric. Who was Caught Editing Video to Push Anti-Gun Lies. 'Member that? Of course you do. She insulted gun owners as a whole, while also belittling our intelligence. Two birds.
Let's be clear: "fake news" is the leftist excuse for losing... because losing can never be their fault. Losing is always your fault. Specically because you, the person reading or watching the news, is too stupid to figure out what is "real news" and what is "fake news." Media liberals believe they didn't get "their message out" because "fake news" proliferated social media. Leftist policies didn't lose Democrats elections... Political correctness couldn't have possibly knocked the witch from her high flying broom. No, no, Hillary's de-throning is the fault of "fake news." Damn conservative sites. But even more, damn you for being a retard. Again, that's the belief in liberal media circles.
If the left pushes "fake news lost the Democrats the election" as a main talking point, it will be all the mainstream media harps on for the next two years. Because they can't hold a mirror to their faces without losing their souls. I might be mixing up the order of the metaphor there, but you get the idea.
Before Brian Williams et al lecture us about fake news, maybe the allegedly "legitimate" media should stop reporting fake news themselves. There's an axiom about this sort of thing: "lead by example."
Also perhaps examine they should examine their message. While shelving the elitist beleif that everyday Americans are a bunch of rubes.
