If you were to believe the media, a) that would be a dunderhead decision on your part, and b) you would believe the Republican Party signed their death warrant by voting for the Big, Beautiful Bill. It's gonna be total annihilation in the midterms! And that was before the Epstein brouhaha! Well, as it turns out, the more people learn the truth about what was passed, the more they like it.

A recent Harvard-Harris poll asked voters, point by point, their views of what's in the Triple B. It appears Trump is on the right side of another 80-20 issue.

The thing with polls is not to put too much stock in them, because it all depends on how the question is asked. When you answer the phone and it's CNN asking you if you agree with eleventy million people being kicked off of healthcare because derpity derp "billionaires," you are going to answer differently than if you agree that able-bodied, childless adults should have to work 20 hours a week to qualify for taxpayer-funded health care.

However, we're seeing something we've seen over and over. Whenever Donald Trump does anything, the initial data shows that voters don't like it... because it's based on the lies that the left and the media (but I repeat myself) use to create content and do a journalism about. Then, once voters feel the actual effects of the Trump agenda, support swings in the other direction.

Everything from this point on and for the next year and a half is how smart the GOP is in making sure the message -- the RIGHT message -- gets to the people. Sadly, that's not always our strong point, but let's hold out hope that 2024 taught us a few lessons.
