Mexico City Rioters demand Americans stop immigrating to THEIR country and stealing THEIR homes (and DHS got jokes)

While Americans and foreign nationals continue to protest and riot in the United States under the slogan "no human is illegal," a very different sentiment is emerging at our southern border.
It turns out that open-border policies are largely a phenomenon of the Western world, while most other countries show little interest in taking on the world’s challenges. Who would’ve thought?
Rioters in Mexico City are demanding that Americans stop moving to the United States, as they claim gentrification is affecting that area and making housing unaffordable for everyone else.
NEW: Rioters in Mexico City demand that Americans stop immigrating to their country and “stop stealing” their homes.
You can’t make this up.
Locals are fuming that Americans are “imposing their culture” and taking over.
Some went as far to say that “gringos” should be k*lled… pic.twitter.com/47Wx1kbrqY

LOL. If legal immigration causes this much trouble, just imagine the toll illegal immigration causes for America.
The irony here is truly undeniable...
If you are in the United States illegally and wish to join the next protest in Mexico City, use the CBP Home app to facilitate your departure. https://t.co/P2vKuhbp65

And honestly, the outrage is understandable. The trend of Americans moving to Mexico for cheaper housing goes beyond so-called “first world problems” — it’s a real issue that locals have every right to push back against.
According to Reuters:
Affluent foreigners, particularly Americans, are increasingly working remotely in Mexico City due to its lower cost of living compared to most American cities. This trend has sparked backlash because many Americans can stay in Mexico for up to 180 days without a visa, often choosing to leave only when they reach this six-month limit.
Demonstrators expressed concerns about the rising cost of living, noting rents have surged by 47% in five years, according to Eduardo Alanis.
Do you think the same people who despise federal immigration laws in America are also the same ones moving to Mexico City? Because something tells me that might be a possibility…
How come it’s only racist when Americans want stricter immigration enforcement? When Mexicans do it in Mexico, it’s referred to as standing up to colonization, but when Americans do it, it’s somehow considered evil.
Only in America do you find its people advocating for the country’s downfall. You truly can’t make that kind of insanity up.
Nonetheless, a similar phenomenon occurs when the U.S. decides to open the floodgates and allow everyone and their grandmothers to come in.
According to the Heritage Foundation:
As millions of aliens entered the United States illegally over the last 3½ years, they significantly increased housing demand. That was especially true in places where state and local governments gave handouts—in addition to federal funds—to illegal aliens for monthly housing payments.
This dynamic in the housing market has even been recognized by Neel Kashkari, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. But you don’t need to be a Fed bank president to know that increasing the demand for housing will raise prices; it’s basic economics.
Yet many on the radical left insist that illegal aliens have magically decreased the price of housing in the United States. This fictitious belief relies on the equally dubious assumption that illegal aliens have flooded into residential construction jobs, thereby greatly increasing the supply of homes.
Wow. Turns out that rapidly increasing the population doesn’t help with affordable housing; it makes things significantly worse. Who could’ve seen that coming? Certainly not anyone lacking even a fraction of common sense.
While I don’t condone rioting or violence, it’s easy to understand the frustration. Locals have every reason to be upset when foreigners—often earning far higher wages—move in, drive up housing demand, and disrupt the local economy. It's not fair for them to take advantage of lower living costs without considering the impact on those already struggling. That kind of entitlement is, unfortunately, a hallmark of the most radical elements of modern liberalism.
While liberals in America argue that every human deserves a shot at the American dream, it seems that sentiment doesn’t extend to the Mexican dream. Funny how that works.
